About

Hi, I’m Jeanette, the creator behind Curam, a skincare space devoted to slowing down, restoring balance, and working with the skin instead of against it.

I came to esthetics by way of the culinary world — and a pandemic, a pivot, and one client's tears that changed everything.

After closing my food business at the start of the pandemic, I found my way through lashes and eventually to Permanent Makeup brows — needle-phobia and all. When my first brow client cried seeing her reflection, I understood the power of this work. It sparked a curiosity that went beyond the surface, into how skin restores, repairs, and reflects what's happening within us.

That curiosity led me into a year-long esthetician apprenticeship — studying skin science, chemistry as it relates to the human body, and performing facial treatments from foundational techniques to advanced electrotherapy applications.

"When we stop over-treating and start listening, the skin knows exactly how to heal and renew itself."

My approach is one of intention. Never pushing the skin beyond what supports its natural function. Balance is the goal — always.

Here, skincare isn't about chasing perfection. It's about returning to equilibrium, working with your skin's natural rhythm, and trusting the body's capacity to restore itself.

"The best skincare routine isn't complicated. It may begin here — but it ultimately ends with you."

My goal is simple: that you leave my treatment room with clarity about your skin, its needs, and confidence in the plan we've built together.

Curam. From the Latin: care, tending, concern.
